The haircut

I know I know. It's been a while. Let me tell you this whole blogging thing is a cruel mistress. First, the lack of quality photographic material coming from mom and dad. Then add to that my busy, busy schedule. Well, I'm sure you can see where this is going. Down a rat hole of excuses. But I'll spare you that and give you the news: I got a haircut.
This is the before picture. I'm wearing my retiree sweater. It was a gift from Aunt Poosers. I like it a lot because it's snuggly, but you can see how it makes me look like a pensioner trying to keep the chill of old age at bay. But anyway. Take a good look at those curls peeking out over my shoulder because...


The next morning, Grandma Dyrness cut them off. It was for the best, really. I was kind of getting a mullet. I'm sitting with Dad and that's Aunt Poosers there saving the trimmings for mom. Mom was away for work when all this went down. I don't know if she could have watched it anyway But Grandma gave me a really good haircut.

Then we all went to the farmer's market and bought cheese.
